This Talavera clay tile is hand-painted in a terracotta background. The foreground colors are blue, white, black and mustard. In the manufacturing process the whole tile is painted in white as a first step and then the rest of the tile is painted on top of the white paint, that is why some light white spots are visible mostly all aver the tile.
