The genuine onyx shades are actual stone mined from naturally formed mountains of onyx. Onyx will not discolor as does alabaster. The stone is cut into blocks from which our shades are carved out, polished, drilled and processed in various ways. Part of the allure of onyx is that no two pieces are identical in coloration. As beautiful as the onyx is naturally, when light is emitted through it or shed upon it, the result is breathtaking. The frame is genuine solid brass finished in polished nickel and is also available in satin brass. Dimmable G9 LED bulbs are supplied. The light output of each bulb is similar to a 40W halogen bulb. Three stems, one 6", one 12" and one 18" long are provided with each chandelier. If your ceiling is greater than 10'' high additional stems are available for purchase. Depending upon the drop required we will recommend the additional stem length(s) and quantitiies you will need. If this chandelier will be mounted on a sloped ceiling please let us know and we will provide the necessary hardware. Matching wall sconces are available. The frame is shipped fully assembled.
