This dramatic, contemporary sculpture is comprised of hand-carved variegated ovoid shapes, stacked to over four feet high. Artisan carved of mindi wood, it is finished it with hand-applied layers of deep cinder-black that highlight the intrinsic beauty of the wood''s natural grain. The work is simple but evocative, and anchored with a square base in the same material.
