This is a made-to-order large mahogany dining table made in the Leighton Hall shop. This is one of our flagship tables and is known as the King Demure dining table. It has a transitional design inspired by the original 18th Century Regency style tables. It features a field of west African swirly crotch mahogany and contrasting borders of satinwood, santos rosewood and straight grain mahogany separated by ebony and white maple inlay lines. The table edge is solid mahogany with a shaped variation of an ogee edge. The table"™s apron is bold and masculine with dental molding along its top outside edge. The double column pedestal bases make this table extremely sturdy and compliment it"™s Regency styling. The top features a hand rubbed and polished semigloss finish.
