The historic first game between the Michigan Wolverines and the Notre Dame Fightin Irishdates back to 1887, with the Wolverines winning the first eight contests. Fast forward 125+ years and, in front of a NCAA-record crowd of 115,109, the Wolverines once again were victorious with a final score of 41-30. This game, "Under the Lights II," was only the second night game ever played at the Big House. Michigan currently ranks ahead of Notre Dame in both winning percentage and all time wins.
