American impressionist Richard Wallich has spent more than 30 years honing his painting talents. He studied painting and figure drawing at the American Academy of Art in Chicago where he first worked in realism, but found the style too time-consuming. He soon discovered that impressionism allowed him to work much faster and more spontaneously so that he could really immerse himself in the painting. Among other high honors, Richard was commissioned by the NFL in 1989 to paint for the Super Bowl, and in 1996 he was the official artist for the Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. He has since been commissioned by several large companies such as Coca Cola, M&M Mars, and American Airlines. An 8" x 10" giclee print under acrilyic in an 11" x 14" Black Frame.
