It shows Riverfront Plaza, a nine-block pedestrian concourse along the Savannah River that offers many historic buildings and shops. The tall building on the near side of the river, which is Hutchinson Island, is the Westin Savannah Harbor Resort. The large white building next to it is the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center. Directly behind the hotel, on the Savannah side of the river, is Savannah City Hall with the gold-domed roof. The cable-stayed bridge on the right is Talmadge Memorial Bridge. Savannah is known for its many restored 18th and 19th Century homes and buildings that give Savannah its unique Southern character and charm.
