Description
This panorama of Toronto was taken by James Blakeway and features a twilight view of the downtown area, looking across the Toronto Inner Harbour. The slender needle-like building is CN Tower, one of the tallest free-standing structures in the world at 1,815 feet and, in 1995, was classified as one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World. To the right of CN Tower, the tallest buildings from left to right are First Canadian Place, Scotia Place and Canadian Trust Tower. The blue, brightly lit dome-shaped structure is Rogers Centre, boasting the world''s first full retractable stadium roof and home to the Toronto Blue Jays baseball team and the Toronto Argonauts football team.
