The power adjustable top allows you to sit or stand while maintaining the executive presence radiated by its'' solid base finished with a smooth black stained American oak wood veneer and silver painted wood feet. In addition, a secondary modesty panel raises in sync with the desk top, leaving no awkward gaps when standing. Choose the perfect height for sitting or standing using the electronic height adjustment control panel. You can use the simple up and down buttons to find the most comfortable height for you in the moment. Afterwards you can choose to lock in your personal preferences with four different memory settings for simple one-touch transitions going forward. The mechanical lift is seamlessly integrated into the dual pedestals so that you still have the storage space you need. Each pedestal features a dual lock with a top drawer for general storage and a lower drawer with filing that fits both letter and legal files. Better still, the light grey powder-coated steel telescoping sub-frame is bolted to the inside of the pedestals which ensures a more stable transition when moving. The weight of the base minimizes vibrations that can lead to to shaky monitors and desktop items. The control panel also includes a gyro that features an anti-collision sensor that will stop the desk and move in the opposite direction if it encounters another object or sudden force. You can also lock the mechanism when not in use to prevent accidentally engaging the height adjustments. Unsightly wires are easily managed when routed through either of the two cable ports on the desk top and adhering them to the underside of the desk with ties provided. Wires and power cables can then be consolidated within the stylish silver vertical cable management spine that also rises with the desk.
