I live and have always lived in the same small town and in the same house in western North Carolina. I have always loved photography and art, mainly portraits, and am a third generation artist. I went back to college to get a degree in Graphic Design and majored in photography. During this time I joined the Catawba Valley Camera Club and won many awards. At present I am on my third mural at my church and doing photography. Most of my photographs are from western North Carolina, Florida, Europe and Hawaii along with some western US photos. My family has become accustomed (well maybe tolerates) me yelling stop on a road trip for me to take photographs. I work in a variety of genres including landscape, floral, animals/wildlife, still life and portraits.

Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist''s canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame.
