The creature is depicted resting on its stomach, with spiral clouds emanating from its four hooved legs. Two long bull-like horns spiral down from its head. Upon its back sits a large, circular incense vessel with a removable dragon motif lid. A similar but smaller bull-like creature rests upon the lid, completing the overall design. In pieces of Chinese art when the offspring of an animal is depicted, it is usually to represent fertility- rendering this piece a great gift for an expecting mother or a baby shower.
