This is a traditional style of Chinese antique carved Camphor chest/trunk from China. It has about 100 years old history. It was sailor''s hope chest with all the sailor''s best wishes and hopes in it. This chest has massive detailed raise carving works on all four sides and the top. It is opened on top and has a antique latch/lock on the front and antique hinge at back. There is a sliding wooden tray inside trunk letting you set some lighter clothes and jewelry in it You may use it as coffee table too. It is not only a gorgeous antique collectible items but also a wonderful room furniture. You will love it when you have it.
