High Tide shows us a beach scene with a wonderful dual aspect, created by the neat bisecting line of the frothy waves. Along the lower section, we see holiday makers enjoying the sun and sand, with a very high level of detail which makes it possible to examine individuals and imagine their stories. However, the bulk of the image is the ocean, a stunningly rich emerald colour, fading to black.
