Additional details: First printing lithograph unsigned and not numbered Marc Chagall, titled "The Yellow Background" published in 1969. Engraved by Charles Sorlier, number 56 in Chagall-Sorlier Lithographs catalogue raisonne, printed on Arches vellum with "Chagall" printed in red without any mention of either gallery or date. Printed by Mourlot and published by Maeght, Paris. Arches watermarked.
