This panoramic photograph of Tokyo was taken by James Blakeway. Tokyo is Japan''s capital and largest city. Featured in the center of the photograph is the 333-meter Tokyo Tower, the tallest structure in Japan. Its primary purpose is to relay TV and radio signals but the main attraction is the observation decks at 150 and 250 meters above the ground. On the right, crossing Tokyo Bay is the Rainbow Bridge. The area in the distance and slightly to the right of Tokyo Tower is Ginza, the most glamorous shopping district in Tokyo. Tokyo is a beautiful city and because of earthquakes and war damage, is among the newest cities in the world.
